The SILC Leadership Certificate is a leadership development program open to Indiana University students. This program provides a customizable experience for developing student leadership competencies through leadership education and development, co-curricular involvement, service, and self-reflection. The program culminates with the creation of a final reflection documenting your advancement as a leader.
- Creation of a personalized plan for leadership development.
- Attendance to leadership workshops, events, and opportunities that fall under one of three categories (Comprehensive Leadership Development, Teambuilding and Leadership, and Service and Learning) and the submission of short reflections that aid in translating experience to leadership development.
- Submission of a final reflection.
The program can be completed within one academic year, but students can earn their certificate in any duration of time while they are enrolled at IU.
Students who complete the SILC Leadership Certificate Program will receive a physical certificate as well as a matching Canvas Credential that can be added to a LinkedIn profile or shared on social platforms.
Students can self-enroll in the SILC Leadership Certificate Canvas course at any time using the link below. Full instructions on how to complete the certificate are available on the course page.
